Blog Swinging

Do you ever do this? Swing from blog to blog because another name on a blog you were leaving a comment on sounded interesting? I did an insomniac experiment and I hopped from blog to blog randomly leaving messages. The funny thing is that from a random blog in Japan, I found a comment from one of my blogger friends, so I went around the globe and bumped into a familiar post. Next time I will do more constructive work, like cleaning the house, however, this was fun.

I'm a professional swinger but I have not gone global. Wow. Out of context that is quite the sentence.

That's very similar to Kevin Bacon's 'Six Degrees Theory'. Yes, I've done and it's a lot of fun.

Greetings from London.

no duermo, apenas unas horas al día, ... cansa, pero igual me reconforta aquello de estar viviendo el doble, al ganarle unas horas al suen>O.

Yes...I also like clicking that "next blog" link on the top navbar and blog surf. I am now officially blog obsessed thanks to you!

Is that what they call it? I do it from time to time. We should do it in a string and go to 100 blogs or something one day. And just decide to comment on each one. You up for it?

Yes...I think that is most true! Blog hopping is a wonderful thing...choose one commenter, then go to one of theirs, then one of theirs...and so on down the line.
Cool! and no, housework can wait.

If someone I don't recognize leaves a comment on my blog, I just HAVE to check out theirs and comment, and then I recognize other people who comment on their blogs so then I follow them too. Those red threads keep swinging in the adoption blogs, anyway!

Yea, it's addictive and I should probably seek help. It remains my favorite way to kill time though.

Last week I found someone in my city of Tyler, Texas by way of Paris Parfait in Paris, France. Thought that was rather interesting.

I have to tell you that your blog has created a Louis Armstrong fan in my daughter. Last night while she was drinking her bottle, she became mesmerized, rocking to and fro, and when I clicked off the blog, she put her bottle down in protest, stared fixedly into my eyes and did her little move that means "dance" over and over again until I put the blog back on. She danced through three rounds of Louis Armstrong before she'd allow me to move on to something else. Hey, at least the girl has taste!

It's funny that this post was your last one written, because that is exactly how I got HERE! I came from Donna's MSN 106 Yahoo group, clicked on the first post there, saw you on her comments, and ended up here. I love "blog swinging", except sometimes I forget where I started and can't figure out how to get there.

P.S. I clicked on your name because I had seen it before, I think on one of my blogger's friend lists

I had to remove that last comment because it made no sense. I really must proofread before I comment. :)

Definitely more fun than housework. And for every blog visited, it is whole new world, we learn something new no matter what. Hope you have a good weekend :D
