On the Eve of Election

The stage is set on the eve of one the most important presidential elections in modern history. Whatever your feelings and inclinations make sure you make them count by voting. It is a priviledge that not many people have in this world. Tomorrow we elect a president and set the course for the next 4 years. I am looking forward to the end of this election and to the beginning of a new era in American politics. What has excited me personally about this election, aside from the fact that this year I can vote for the first time for a president, is the passion that this election has brought forth. Once again, people are passionate and are running out to have their voices heard. For years I have heard people say they have not bothered to vote. I cringe at that kind of talk. This is the first election that I can remember that people have run like crazy to the polls to vote early. Tomorrow the polls open once again, please vote, make your voice count. It is the most important priviledge that you have as an American citizen.

I can hardly wait for this election to be over too. It seems like it has been going on for years! If you don't vote, you l
lose the right to complain!!!

Thank you for stopping by my blog. It is nice to know others have gone through infertility and survived. There are days I'm not sure I'll make it through this.

I'm glad you found a way to make it happen for you. Blessings to you and your family!

This election has been exciting. In my local area, there have even been demonstrations. I can't remember the last time that happened. Most of the elections have generated mostly apathy.

I was glad to vote early (it helped ease my own personal tension) but seeing people today wearing their "I Voted" stickers this morning made me so proud.

It's going to be a long day of impatience, but if Obama can be patient, so can I. Thanks for such a wonderful post.

I threatened my students into voting. They either bring e their sticker or they suffer.

Since I am living outside the US, I had already voted via absentee ballot. What an important message, and what a great picture!
