I love the picture. And as always, you find the most beautiful sentiments to live by. I still need to work on my stillness when I meet people. I'm not a natural around others, so I tend to get flighty in social situations. It's a problem.
Good morning, Yoli, Thank you for your kind praise. I think you would like this one, a sort of continuation to Stillness Speaks, http://kat-natalie.blogspot.com/2007/01/essence-of-oneness-advaita.html
Ahhh, stillness. Are we. Ever. Motionless? Quiet. Immobile? To the point of. Non. Movement?
Methinks that there's a tiny, minute, fleeting instant in which the whole world stops at once and we hear the gasp of a hare, the footsteps of a turtle or the raspy voice of a giraffe.
I can't tell you how much your support and encouragement has meant and helped me not to succumb - this is, as always, a stirring, thought provoking and beautiful post - like you.

Greetings from London.
yes
i have been wrapping my arms
around stillness
silence
breathing it all in
leaving space
to be filled up
to overflowing
with new life
:)
