The joys of a son
It has not been easy adding this new man to the house. His sister has had fits of jealousy and everyone has had to adapt to the dynamics of being a family of four, as oppossed to a peaceful family of three. As I fold his laundry and smile over his little boys socks and shorts, I can't help but think how incredibly fortunate I am that life has blessed me with a son. When I began my adoption journey, I thought I would have one child. Then we decided that Sally would be better off not being an only child since we are middle aged. So we went on our journey again and decided to adopt another little girl from China. As fate would have it, we ended up with a boy. What an amazingly happy turn of events! I am crazy about him, and even big sis could not resist his charms for long.

Congrats on your two beautiful children!
Sometimes the best trips in life aren't the ones you had mapped out, aren't they?
Is she coming around? That's wonderful.
he looks so much like bennett from the back -- they have the same hairline... I will be looking to you for styling advice. B is a bit groovy looking at the moment!
We are still adjusting, one minute at a time. It's rough and tumble, for sure!
Blessed are you, to have one of both! Enjoy them! (I know you are:))
That's how we are over here as well....love our little man and both his sisters do too! ;)
We did request either gender both time and if this adoption ever happen I'll be happy to know what it is to have a son.
Maëlle ask for a brother AND a sister!
Congratulations from Spain! Your childrens are so beautiful!
