I love that ode to tea-drinking.
My bff in NYC and I used to go for tea and stawberries at the Plaza all the time when I lived there. It's a wonderful ritual.
I used to go to the Palm Court at the Plaza everytime I went to NYC. When they sold the hotel to that developer I was crushed. Suppossedly it is going to open soon and they left the Palm Court intact.
I know! Mike told me yesterday that the Plaza was being re-opened, and Eloise will have her home back!! All is right with the world again.
(I was so depressed when they closed it.)

Beautiful photo - I've never had the high tea experience but have had the good fortune to be taught by an authentic cockney as well as a Japanese CEO the finer points of brewing the "perfect" (according to their cultures) cup of tea.
Ah! The virtues of drinking tea :-)
