I love this show, I could be married to Sheldon! It is my favorite comedy since its inception. Brilliant dialogue and great ensemble cast. Do any of you guys watch? It is on CBS every Monday at 8 PM, eastern time.
About the Show
Leonard and Sheldon are brilliant physicists, the kind of "beautiful minds" that understand how the universe works. But none of that genius helps them interact with people, especially women. All this begins to change when a free-spirited beauty named Penny moves in next door. Sheldon, Leonard's roommate, is quite content spending his nights playing Klingon Boggle with their socially dysfunctional friends, fellow CalTech scientists Wolowitz and Koothrappali. However, Leonard sees in Penny a whole new universe of possibilities... including love.

I love The Big Bang Theory. Best new sitcom in years. Apparently, we are the only ones who think so it got over 8 million viewers on Monday. Great show.
You are right - we are very very much alike! :) I love love love that show - it is the funniest thing on tv at the moment. (Thanks to the internet we figured out a way to watch it over here...) Sheldon is superb...remember the Doppler effect costume?

Nerds rule - girls drool!! I rarely watch tv, but is one of the only shows that rates must be tivo'd status to be viewed uninterrupted after the kidlets are sleeping. I've been a fan of the actor who plays Leonard since his days on "Rosanne" as the character David and am really, REALLY happy the writers strike is over and this show came back.
