I have never been to Africa but I share a dream of this place. Of all the places I have been, the one that most holds my soul is Rome, with its twilight magic, its warm, russet colors, and its layers upon layers of cultural history.
it would be nice to be in that lovely hotel watching huge elephants pass by my window like it was the most natural thing in the world...
Italy. The hill country.
Oh my! You ARE dreaming of Africa!!! I am planning on dreaming of Africa myself soon. My parents went there a couple of years back and I was so jealous! Thanks for the amazing pictures!:-)Happy dreaming!Melissa
I think Paris, but Africa comes in 2nd.
My mom and I were to go on safari at Masai Mara in Kenya and then explore Nairboi for several days this July. Gas prices drove up all the mileage limits on using airline bonus miles. So, the trip is on hold for a year. I had a bit of a difficult time shaking off that disappointment. Consequently, I often dream of Africa. And Amsterdam, where we planned our layover to accomodate a short visit. I also dream of Greece with its incredibly blue water and houses like sugar cubes. Maybe we'll both be able to travel again soon. Until then, happy armchair traveling.
Right now it is China. But I would love to see Paris as I am a student of art and Ireland where my family came from. County Downs Ireland to be exact.
The weirdest and certainly CORNIEST thing - my dream place is where I live everyday (2nd only to where you live in the beautious Keys) - I've just in the past week remembered, where I am, how I live, it's what I've wanted all along. *clicking my heels together three times*:)Beautiful pictures. Have you ever been to Africa?
I'm there with you today my friend...How did you know? You have written my dreams on this page...Much love to you and yours, M
There is no place that i have traveled that I loved more than Italy (and I've been to England, Iran, Bangladesh, Thailand, Hong Kong, France, etc). In particular, the Umbria region, those small towns nestled in the rolling hills and mountains. Though Rome held me too.
What a beautiful place, I would find it hard to tear myself away from any of those views, even though the next view is bound to be as beautiful.I am dreaming of going to so many places... the Italian countryside, London, Amsterdam, Lyons, China, Australia, Greece, Iceland, California...
Are you kidding me...an elephant walking past a tent...with what looks like 400 thread count white sheets on the bed...My worlds just collided.
I would LOVE to go to Africa one day... on a safari (as touristy as it seems)... I would travel anywhere at anytime... take care
I live in Johannesburg South Africa. I would never leave this country - I love it too much. Last week I was in Mossel Bay in the Western Cape - it was breathtaking. I dream of Morocco and India…
Beautiful pictures!! I would love to visit Africa and Australia soon!!
