My Knight Enters

It is a rainy day here in my rainforest. So many plans had to be put aside due to the weather. I stepped outside to catch a glimpse of my orchids. Deep humidity and heat immediately engulfed me. My orchids were loving it so I had to smile. Then, out of the blue, I heard the hoof beats getting closer. A beautiful knight of old smiled wearily at me. He stopped at my door, bowed. He was so tired, his journey had been long. Still, he had the sense of arriving with a token. He handed me a beautiful silk scarf. I was totally taken, I could not hide the blush creeping on my cheeks. So I asked him to please make himself at home, undress and keep me company. I think this love affair will be one for the ages. He is here, and he is even more beautiful than I had anticipated.

Yay! I am so chuffed he made it without losing a horseshoe :)
Seems he brought our Scottish rain with him! And I am so pleased Yoli that you like him so much...
Don't want him to be causing any marriage break ups though!!
It is lovely to see my work photographed in another place in the world. May he be ticking a long time. Thank you for the lovely commission :)

Love this! I want one too. Your accompanying story brought to mind one of my favorite scenes from The Once & Future King by TH White... One by one a secession of weary knights, conquered by Sir Lancelot, arrive at Queen Guenevere's flame lit hall, and on bended knee offer to live or die by her hand. All of the knights gifts sent to her by Lancelot. G's overwhelmed (and King Arthur is non too happy.) I always found this parade of knights the ultimate romantic gesture!

This knight has come to serve you, sent by the hand of Rima :)

Can't think of one person who is more deserving or will treasure it more. You have impeccable, unique tastes and I loved the imagery you conjured up with the tale of arrivals. Love the new banner too. Adorable.
