No one can confidently say that he will still be living tomorrow. ~Euripides

Honestly, I have been on a anti-dessert kick since this past December. The amount of sugar I was consuming was messing me up. So, I weaned myself from everything sweet. It was hard at first but then I started feeling better as each day progressed. I felt invincible, that no dessert would ever tempt me again. Yet, I saw these cupcakes on Bakerella and I have fallen off the wagon. I went to publix, bought a box of cupcakes and ate. them. all. I had to rush and find a quote to make me feel better. Euripides, in my other life my dear, you have cupcakes coming!

Makes me think of my four-year-old nephew asking how I KNEW for sure that there would be another Christmas.

btw, imo, it would be a crime to turn down a cupcake that looked as lovely as that!

I would not have eaten these cupcakes myself. Too pretty. But, hey, go and enjoy yourself. 'Life is very short and there's no tiiiiime, for fussing and fighting, my friend' :-).

Greetings from London.

Ahh, chocolate ... roses ... How gorgeous. I'm new, Yoli, having discovered your site over on Woman Wandering, but Imust tell you your postings are dessert for my eyes!

Good morning and, Yoli, thank you for your kind comments!
I am still thinking about your post on Dubai’s cruelty towards immigrants… No matter how despicable certain individuals might be, WHO can change that that & HOW?.... “They” are just as despicable towards each other…

As always, thank you for beautiful picures!!

These cupcakes are gorgeous! No wonder you fell off the wagon for them. And thank you for the link to Bakerella. I hadn't been there before...she has terrific ideas, doesn't she?

Oh, those would tempt a saint!!

It must have been Cupcake Day yesterday....I gave myself a rare treat and had the chocolate/cream cheese cupcake at Starbucks. Pretty darn good and definitely worth every calorie! ; )

Those cupcakes ARE a work of art! I have fallen off my bandwagon, too, since the hummingbird cake has been here all week. I've got to climb back on...as soon as it's gone, of course!

What are those cupcake rose toppings made of? They're gorgeous! That alone would have prevented me from biting into them...

Amazing works of sheer art! I'm torn in between whether to savor its beauty or to rip it apart, relishing the tantalizing tingles upon my taste buds...

Who in the world could blame you, If I sold some art I could afford to buy some and I would buy two boxes :-). They are beautiful! And I bet just as yummy.

very powerful stuff...cupcakes can do that to you. I once fell of the wagon for coffee ice cream. Been addicted ever since.
