Risk

Artwork by Tessa of AN AERIAL ARMADILLO

It takes a lot of courage to release the familiar and seemingly secure, to embrace the new. But there is no real security in what is no longer meaningful. There is more security in the adventurous and exciting, for in movement there is life, and in change there is power. ~Alan Cohen

I love the vibrancy of the picture. "In movement there is life" -- absolutely true. Now I feel guilty.

Dear Yoli,
Yes! Alan Cohen's words are true!
I remember graduating from Eight grade being at unrest for the future. My father said that "It's funny how change (that seems insurmountable), will seem "normal" after being in the new situation for awhile.
Thinking of you.

Tessa is one of the most amazing artists I've met on the blogosphere and the words you chose to accompany her image are truly wonderful. Many thanks.

Greetings from London.

What a gorgeous illustration and a quote I must read and reread over and over for my mind feels weary and confused and the message does not initially sink in or make sense. Thank you, my friend for the love & support. xo S, Missy D, Nessie Ness, Oliver & Gus

Oh! Yoli, I'm touched to the very heart of me that you would consider one of my paintings to belong on your most beautiful of blogs. And put together with that sublimely meaningful quote is just beyond wonderful. Thank you.
