Tiny Dancer

Dancing in the park on Shamian Island my tiny dancer was in a world all of her own. Sally loves to dance and any music is an excuse to get up and show the world her moves.

We are all dealing with massive jet lag right now and everyone is adjusting to the new kid in town. Paloma is an easy child, goes with the flow and surprised us with sleeping through the night. She is very attached to her father and wants nothing to do with me but I know that will change. It is hard for her to supplant a beloved mother figure (which she had) for a new mother figure that might be taken away again. I find immense comfort in knowing that she feels happy around her father and sibblings. I will sneak into her heart, of that I have no doubt.

This is so fantastic, Yoli! Your Sally is a dream. Her uninhibited nature is a testament to your parenting style.

I have no doubt that Paloma will fall head over heals in love with you in no time. You are wise to understand her reluctance to bond with you right now. She's a smart girl who knows how to protect herself and a very lucky girl to have found family in her father and siblings so soon.

Welcome home!

Look at your little one dancing...awww! I enjoy seeing my own nieces enter that dream zone whether it be dance or pretend or creating stories with toys. And yes, you newest little one will LOVE you as much as you love her. In the short meantime, your husband must be in heaven with his little girls right now.
