Thank you for reminding me how much I love this quote, how much it has inspired me, in times of doubt, over the past decade or so. Cambodia haunts me, at times. It was a place of so much darkness and light, so much beauty and horror. I was moved. The Mongolian desert, its awesome stillness, has an effect on me too.
