Plague Doctor Mask

I love masks and I found this fine example on Etsy, it is called a plague mask. It is crafted by Tom Banwell. In this short video he talks about the origens of the mask.

yoli - that is really cool. i seem to remember hearing that the wearer would put fresh herbs in the snout area as they believed it helped to avoid spreading the plague. what an image that would have made: the "doctor" sitting in front of the boat, wearing this while rowing the victims out to a quarantine island off venice.

bizarre - word veri is: unded!
