Marshall Bruce Mathers III

I love his poetical anger. The intelligence and pain behind the eyes. The tough act that has always seemed like posturing to me. Fringe people. Whatever success they acquire later in life, you can still see the scars.

"Lately I've been hard to reach, I've been too long on my own Everybody has a private world where they can be alone Are you calling me? Are you trying to get through Are you reaching out for me, like I'm reaching out for you?" -Lyrics from Beautiful

I feel the same way about him - he's always seemed like a lost, scared, angry, little boy to me. Vulnerable right beneath the surface. I admire his tenacity and talent. Spicy, spiked lemonade from lemons.
